Games run on your device

Every game on this site loads once and then plays entirely in your browser. Your moves, keystrokes and taps stay on your machine — playing a game sends nothing about how you played it to anyone, and there are no downloads and no paid anything.

Your score stays on your machine too, unless you choose otherwise. If you sign in with URSY.ID and claim a public handle, the result of a game — the game, the score and the handle you chose — is sent to this site and shown on the public leaderboard. That is the only thing a game sends, it only happens while you are signed in, and it is the whole reason the leaderboard exists. Play signed out and nothing about your game leaves the device. Corrected 5 September 2026: this page previously said scores never left your machine and that there were no accounts at all. That was written before sign-in and the leaderboard existed, and it had stopped being true.

What reaches the service is recorded

Requests that reach URSY.games — page requests, API calls, searches and asks — are recorded. That record keeps a free public service safe: it is how abuse gets spotted, how our own bad-actor detection learns, and how the service stays honest about its own traffic. Stored text is neutralised before it is written (control characters, invisible marks and injection patterns never reach the ledger), kept internally, and never sold.

Humans are only counted with consent

The one small cookie (ursy_consent) remembers your answer to one question. Say no and you are simply not counted as a visitor — every page and every game works exactly the same. Crawlers and named AI readers are always counted; that is service accounting, not surveillance.

Adverts carry no tracking

Ad slots on this site are estate inventory: fixed-size cards with plain text, a picture served by the advertiser, and one link. Nothing in an ad executes, nothing measures you, and no third party is invited to watch you read. The current network sponsor is teas.co.uk.

Sign-in is optional and pairwise

URSY.id is the estate's single sign-in. If you use it here, this site learns its own private version of your identity — a reference that works nowhere else on the internet. If you never sign in, nothing changes.

Every game names its source and licence on its own page and on /game-licences/. The collections are open-licensed, each pinned to an exact revision, with the original notices shipped alongside.
